
"The Camel Club" has launched the (Document Them) Programme, the first of its kind worldwide, to document breeds of camel in Saudi Arabia, build a database to preserve achievements, and protect camel health.
Project objectives

To lead the regulation and development of the camel sector internationally, so that the Kingdom remains the main centre for world camel breeding. |

To build an electronic platform containing data for all targeted camel owners. |

To build a database for genetic linkage of all camel breeds. |
|
To issue an electronic document on each camel, giving the owner access to all documents relating to his camel. |

To build a scientific study comparing original Arabian breeds and imported breeds, and produce accurate results and clear recommendations on which to build. |

To assist "the Camel Club" in performing its functions during the competitions and festivals that it organises. |
|
To facilitate resolution of disputes regarding the definition of pedigrees and breeds.. |
|
To harmonize research efforts relating to camels, campaign for improvement and create an appropriate environment. |

To create an investor-friendly environment. |
|
Sustainable non-governmental income for the club. |
